Rules and Regulations

Since the foundation in February 2006 Repent has worked with certain principles and rules, over the years these have been adapted to it’s members and the game. The rules are there to ensure that Repent stays what it was founded to be, a guild based on mutual respect, friendship and the desire to explore content with fun. The rules keep the social and functional aspects of the guild in place, and ensures that every member is treated with equal respect.

A) What Repent is
I. Repent is a mixture between a raiding guild and a social guild. We are NOT just a social guild, and we are NOT a hardcore raiding guild. You do not have to participate in every scheduled raid, however we do expect our members to raid whenever possible.

II. The Repent forum has been active since Repent’s founding in February 2006. It contains a large database of posts including important information and announcements regarding the guild and game. It is our primary means of communication for discussions, announcements and random chatting. We ask you to check the forums at least once a week.

B) Raiding
I. The raiding hours are from 19:30 to 24:00. Invites may start from 19:15 so that the raid can start as soon as possible. We expect our members to be able to participate in raids during these hours, however exceptions can be made through discussion with the officers.

II. We do not allow our members to run PuG’s for endgame content that is in the current raiding schedule. If you wear the Repent tag above your head, we expect you to raid with us and us alone. On officer's decision, some instances may be given free from this rule.

III. If you sign for a raid, you are expected to come prepared, this means fully repaired with flasks/elixirs, foodbuffs and sufficient reagents. Also, this means that you know the tactics for the dungeon.

IV. During raids, the Raid Leader has the final say in things, if you do not agree with decisions taken, you can bring up the discussion on the forum.

C) Social and general behavior
I. As said in section A paragraph I, Repent was built on mutual respect and friendship. Every person no matter what origin, religion, sexuality, gender will be treated equally, and we expect you to respect that person’s view on life and principles. What we do NOT tolerate is discrimination or racism in any way.

II. If you wear the Repent tag above your head, you will be seen as a reflection of the guild to the rest of the community, and the actions of a single person can and will be seen as the actions of the entire guild. We ask you to keep this in mind at all times.
